Last Wednesday, Dr. Brian Biesman, EO Nashville member and director of the Nashville Centre for Laser and Facial Surgery appeared on the Fox 17 Weekly Wellness segment to discuss ways in which “modern technology is affecting modern medicine.”
Dr. Biesman, who is a world-renowned authority on cosmetic, reconstructive and laser surgery talked about chin implants, the fastest growing cosmetic procedure in the United States, and how some of that growth is driven by technologies like Skype and Facetime. You can watch the Fox 17 video here.
Additionally, Dr. Biesman was featured on ABC News Channel 2 a couple weeks ago in a segment about how more and more men are choosing to undergo plastic surgery. You can watch the ABC clip here.
Earlier this month, Nashville’s Style Blueprint blog posted an entry on EO Nashville member company Ruby. Dan Cook and his wife Brenda opened the space in 2011.

The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) and Fortune magazine announced today its winners of the 2012 Inner City 100, a list of the fastest-growing inner city companies in America. We’ve happy to report that three EO Nashville member companies made the cut:

Yesterday, the Nashville Business Journal revealed finalists for its 2012 Best Places to Work.
According to the Business Journal, “Employees of nominated companies were asked to complete an online survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. The employee survey measures 10 key engagement categories, including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders and manager effectiveness. Responses from each question of each completed survey are compiled and evaluated. Companies are ranked and winners are chosen in each size category according to their overall composite score.”
