Mike says he is ready for the changing competitive field.
On Friday, Aug. 3, Susan Marlow [Smart Data Strategies] was included in a Tennessean article about the increased demand for foreign tech workers. Susan, who has faced difficulty finding qualified American computer programmers, hired her first international employee a year ago.
Also last week, Mark Deutschmann’s company, Village Real Estate, was recognized as the winner of an Inman News 2012 Innovator Award. Village Real Estate is the first company from Tennessee to receive this award. You can learn more about the award here.
In other award news, Bob Levy’s Paradigm Group was recognized by Outside magazine as one of the 30 Best Places to Work. Outside ranked Paradigm 21st, highlighting the company’s Music Row office, flexible schedule and annual trip to help with a local community project.
EO Nashville members Hannah Paramore [Paramore | the digital agency], Dan Hogan [Medalogix], John Kepley [teknetex inc] and Bryan Ansley [FNB Merchants] were all nominated for the Nashville Business Journal’s 2012 Most Admired CEOs and Their Companies Awards. One of the 20 total nominees will also secure a lifetime achievement nod. That lucky individual will be announced in the 12/7/12 issue of the Business Journal.
