EO Nashville Members in the News: Darek Bell, Andy Bailey, Julie May, David Waddell, Bob Bernstein, Joe Freedman

Here’s what your fellow EO members have been up to this week:

Corsair Distillery [Darek Bell] was featured in the October 2013 edition of Afar Magazine. The article suggested a tour of the facility and a taste of the Pumpkin Spice Moonshine.


Andy Bailey’s [Petra] Tennessean column focused on the key traits of successful entrepreneurs.

Julie May [bytes of knowledge] was quoted in a Businessnewsdaily.com article about discontinued Google programs and their new alternatives. Bytes of knowledge was also recognized by the Tennessean this week for the company’s two wins at The American Business Awards.

The Nashville Ledger published an article by David Waddell [Waddell & Associates] that provided “A dose of fiscal truth” regarding the U.S. debt problem. 

Bongo Java [Bob Bernstein] was mentioned in numerous publications this week, including the Tennessean, in relation to the grand opening of the new Omni Nashville Hotel where the coffee shop is prominently featured. 



Joe Freedman [Music City Tents] penned an article for the EO Overdrive blog in which he provides tips for entrepreneurs looking to sell their business. 

In event news, on October 10th two of our members will be taking part in the Nashville Business Journal’s second annual Entrepreneur Exchange at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. Julie May [Bytes of Knowledge] and John Kepley [Teknetex] will speak on the topic “Lessons Learned: My colossal failures vs. my explosive growth”.
